Rolling Storm Window |
Exterior Rolling Storm Style offers the benefit
of self-storing windows and screens for easy seasonal
changes. In addition:
- Sash roll on Dupont Delrin Acetal Resin Wheels for
smooth operation.
- Sash locks are spring loaded.
- A full screen is included for maximum ventilation.
- Windows offer increased panoramic views.
Hilite Door Panel is also available with Tru-Channel
storm window and offers self-storing feature for easy
seasonal changes.
Storm Door Panel System Components
- Panel Frames are made of hollow extrusions and reinforced
with cross mullions of hollow box construction with
a minimum wall thickness of .050" and a backwall thickness
of .060".
- Door Panel Frame is mitered and joined by the use
of heavy-duty .188" thick extruded corner gussets
extending a minimum of 3-1/2" into panel-frame extrusions
at the top, bottom, and sides.
- Sash is glazed with 1/8" tempered glass as a standard.
- Insert is marine glazed using vinyl wrap around
U-channel set in an aluminum frame which includes
silicone treated wool pile weather stripping around
the perimeter.
- Screen Wire is a 18 x 16 mesh, non-glare charcoal
finish aluminum held in place by a corrugated vinyl
spline.
- Both glass and screen inserts are held in the door
panel by the use of aluminum clips and thumb screws
set in aluminum rivnuts.
